Luís Sá is an 'applied theorist' whose work bridges Industrial Organization and Health Economics and has been published in the Journal of Health
Economics and the Bulletin of the World Health Organization.
He holds a PhD in Economics from U Minho (Portugal) and currently sits on the board of
the Portuguese Health Economics Association (APES); between 2020 and 2022, he was a member of the Early-Career Committee of the European
Health Economics Association (EuHEA); in 2023, he received the 2022 Pedro Pita Barros Award for best paper in Health Economics.
