Steven Adler founded Climate Tech Lisbon, mentors many startups, and is a UN Pre-vetted Digital Transformation Consultant. He created the Ocean Data Alliance with a program launch at UN HQ in 2019 and was IBM's Chief Data Strategist in a 23 year career where he invented Internet Insurance and the Data Governance industry. He holds five patents, has taught Data Governance at NYU Stern School of Business, The Bucerius Law School, and at Copenhagen Unviversity. He was a data He was appointed to serve on the US Commerce Department Data Advisory Council, was a board member of the NY Civil Liberties Union, and was a co-chair of industry standards committees at W3C and OASIS. Steven was recognized with two US President's Volunteer Leadership Awards, has co-authored marine science papers, worked in 60 nations, and gave a TEDx Talk on Africa Open Data.
