Mafalda has a degree in Neuroscience from King's College London and a Master in International Business from Hult International Business School. She
started her career in management consulting in the financial services sector in a big four consulting company, having lived and worked in five different
continents. These experiences have made her passionate about challenging the status quo and fostering unusual collaborations, including those
between companies, startups and students. She’s an expert in finding less obvious connections and connecting worlds, which is where the most unlikely
but disruptive innovative opportunities lie. Mafalda is currently Team Leader of the Co.Innovation Lab, member of the Innovation Ecosystem at Nova
SBE, a leading business school in Europe. She has extensive experience in corporate innovation projects, both in open innovation and internal ventures,
through which she has developed a deep understanding of the challenges companies face to innovate their business models and adopt new
technologies in the face of market disruption.
