Dr. Michael Kummer is an Associate Professor at Nova School of Business and Economics. His research applies causal quantitative methods and online experiments to study the creation of user-generated content in knowledge management systems such as Wikipedia and Stack Overflow, the structure of online markets, and firms’ strategic choices on data collection and innovation in mobile app markets. His work has been published in leading journals including Management Science, Information Systems Research, MIS Quarterly, The Econometric Journal and the European Economic Review.
