On September 29th, Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) received the Honorary Member of the Order of Public Instruction degree by the hands of His Excellency the President of the Portuguese Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.

The Order of Public Instruction is a Portuguese order of civil merit usually attributed to individuals or institutions for high services rendered to education and teaching, and Nova SBE’s services were acknowledged with this honor, which was handed over by the President of the Portuguese Republic himself. His Excellency the President of the Portuguese Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa presented Nova SBE’s Dean, Daniel Traça, this award claiming Nova SBE to be a “great school, a pioneer in all scientific, pedagogic, national, and international areas”.

The school received this award on the day it celebrated, in an unforgettable way, the inauguration of its new campus, in Carcavelos. The ceremony had over 6 thousand guests among which there were renowned national and international figures, institutional partners, companies, Alumni, faculty, staff, and students.
