By continuing to grow boldly, Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) will write another chapter of its history by inaugurating, next April 20, the Nova SBE Haddad Entrepreneurship Institute, a space dedicated to leveraging the potential of each entrepreneur that intends to become one of the leader entrepreneurial institutes in Europe.
Nova SBE, the Alfredo de Sousa Foundation, and the Haddad Foundation will inaugurate, on April 20, the Nova SBE Haddad Entrepreneurship Institute, a new space in the Carcavelos Campus aimed at promoting new ways to innovate, learn and create new businesses and consolidate the work it has been doing to amplify its impact and reach more students, startups, entrepreneurs, Alumni, and more national and international partners.
The Nova SBE Haddad Entrepreneurship Institute, erected with the financial support of the Haddad Foundation, is dedicated to leveraging the potential of entrepreneurial minds, sharing knowledge, trends, and methodologies in this area by building a dynamic community alongside students, startups and partners. Through its ecosystem, Nova SBE has already accelerated more than 200 startups and incubated circa 70.
In close cooperation with the newly inaugurated Nova SBE Innovation Ecosystem, the Nova SBE Haddad Entrepreneurship Institute will create new projects, events, programs, and conferences to foster more synergies among academia, students, partner companies, and the startups incubated on campus. These will now finally work permanently in this new space and benefit from an environment that actively values the development of entrepreneurial skills of the current and future generations.
Euclides Ferreira Major, Executive Director of the Nova SBE Haddad Entrepreneurship Institute, underlines the importance of this space by reminding us that “by taking a chance on developing an innovative mindset, which is supported by the collaboration, strongly stimulated by projects and the curatorship of renowned mentors, our students and Alumni are exemplary in creating impactful enterprises and ventures in several industries.”
The Nova SBE Haddad Entrepreneurship Institute holds a 300 m2 area, including coworking and teamwork spaces, a brainstorming corner, a space for events with a big screen, soundproof booths, and other working spaces.
