The second edition of StartUp Research, the Post-Graduation developed in partnership between Instituto de Tecnologia Química e Biológica António Xavier (ITQB NOVA) and Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE), was designed to help researchers envision the value their work can generate. It will take place from January 10th to April 9th, 2020.
Aimed at researchers from all areas of life sciences, the Startup Research NOVA program helps to train students, giving them the necessary entrepreneurship skills and knowledge about the latest market trends to implement business ideas in their respective fields.
This program intends to bring scientists, entrepreneurs, and companies together. And, provide all managers and executives connected with the scientific arena with advanced training in managing innovation and business. ITQB NOVA will be responsible for the technical content (e.g. innovation in biotech, intellectual property, project management, etc.) and Nova SBE will address the innovation and entrepreneurship aspects.
“Every scientist should apply for this course,” says alumna Roberta Zoppi. “The great environment helps you to enhance your communication skills and gives you the tools to translate science into the language of business. I believe the future is interdisciplinary.”
