Awards | 02 December 2024 Nova SBE Among Top 20 European Business Schools

Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) has achieved the best position ever for a Portuguese school in the Financial Times Best European Business Schools 2024 ranking.

The 18th place now places a Portuguese school among the top 20 of the best European business schools for the first time and reinforces Nova SBE's national leadership. The results represent a climb of three positions in the global ranking compared to the previous year, consolidating Nova SBE as a reference in the international higher education landscape.

The Financial Times Best European Business Schools ranking is a comprehensive assessment of the 100 best business schools in Europe, resulting from the combination of five individual Financial Times rankings. Nova SBE's performance in this ranking reflects the outstanding positions achieved in the specific rankings: 7th place with the International Master in Management, 11th place with the customized Executive Education programs, 24th place with the Lisbon MBA, 26th place with the open Executive Education programs and 28th place with the Lisbon MBA Executive. These results were decisive for the historic position now achieved.

'We have made history again by entering the top 20 of this ranking for the first time. This achievement makes us very proud and aware that we are on the right path to raise the quality of higher education, not only in Portugal but also globally. Our commitment to academic excellence and the development of talent for international business contexts has proven to be a winning bet, positioning Nova SBE as a strategic partner of reference and an essential pillar of higher education in Portugal and Europe, standing among schools that we respect so much, such as INSEAD and London Business School, among others.” says Nova SBE's Dean, Pedro Oliveira.
