The Lisbon MBA once again increases its ranking in the FT Global MBA 2024, jumping 11 positions worldwide, becoming the 74th best MBA in the world and 24th in Europe. It is the 5th European MBA with the highest increase, being the only MBA based in Portugal to be present in this prestigious ranking of the world’s best MBAs.

Standing out for its vital international component, this program achieved 4th place in the world in the International Course Experience criterion due to consistent partnerships with top business schools, namely the immersion program at MIT Sloan in the United States and exchange programs with other MBAs.

The Lisbon MBA achieved 18th place in Europe in the students' career progression indicator, putting the salary increase at 81% three years after graduation, with an average gross annual salary of 120,575 USD. This figure was the 5th best in Europe in terms of salary progression. It should also be noted that the International MBA achieved a 91% employability rate three months after completing the program.

Also contributing to the success of the International MBA program is the evolution in diversity criteria, a priority focus of The Lisbon MBA, with an average of 60% international students and 40% women with the most diverse professional experiences and academic backgrounds, as well as a highly prestigious teaching staff made up of the CATÓLICA-LISBON and Nova SBE schools that teach on the MBA, 40% of whom are international professors.

For Filipe Santos, Dean of CATÓLICA-LISBON, and Pedro Oliveira, Dean of Nova SBE, "this top position for The Lisbon MBA reflects the success of the program and the excellent professional careers of its graduates. The results also reflect the success of this partnership that brings together three world-renowned schools to put Portugal on the map of MBAs of excellence, attracting talent from all over the world to Lisbon. The future is built by developing talents and leaders who are more humane, innovative, inclusive, and capable of leading purposefully. CATÓLICA-LISBON and Nova SBE will continue strengthening their position as world-renowned business schools, working with the best to continue developing an excellent MBA."

Maria José Amich, Executive Director of The Lisbon MBA, states, "It is with great pride that we continue to raise our position worldwide, and we are the only MBA in Portugal continuously present in the prestigious Financial Times 2024 ranking. We continue to expand our international partnerships and increase class diversity, a key aspect of our mission to foster our students' potential as global leaders and prepare them to impact organizations positively. The International MBA 2024 class comprises 62% international students representing 13 nationalities and 59% women with different professional and academic backgrounds.
