Nova SBE congratulates the Tropical Knowledge and Management PhD student Fátima Jamal Ismael on successfully defending her doctoral thesis entitled Improvement of fertilization strategies in mozambican rice production: reconciling environmental sustainability and equitable socioeconomic development which had the supervision of David Fangueiro and Marina Temudo  (both from Instituto Superior de Agronomia), Alexis Ndayiragije (International Rice Research Insitute) and Pedro Vicente. Our school also congratulates the Management PhD student Alexandre Lourenço in the successful defense of the thesis Hospital management — patient-centered care, CEO appointments and their impact, which had Pedro Pita Barros as supervisor.
