André Trindade was an Assistant Professor at the Graduate School of Economics of the Getulio Vargas Foundation (EPGE-FGV). He received his PhD in Economics from Northwestern University in 2011 and his B.A. in Economics at Nova School of Business and Economics (Nova SBE) in Lisbon. His academic research is centered in the areas of Quantitative Marketing and Empirical Industrial Organization, and consists in developing econometric models to understand consumer and firm behavior, and implications for profitability and regulation. Recently, he has worked on topics such as intermediation, B2B bargaining, consumer search, and retailing. In the private sector, André has experiences working as a Senior Economist at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and as an Economist in the Mergers and Monopolization practice of Bates White Economic Consulting
