Susana Lavado is a social and data scientist who is interested in investigating how humans and artificial intelligence interact in decision-making
processes, and ethics and fairness issues in artificial intelligence. She has a PhD in social psychology, and a MSc in advanced analytics. She has
been collaborating with the Data Science Knowledge Center, working in projects in areas such as the prediction of long-term unemployment,
analysis of the seafood first sale patterns during the pandemic, or the prediction of risk of school failure.
