José Braga is an Assistant Professor (Adjunct) at Nova SBE. He is an IT specialist and Science Manager at UCIBIO - Applied Molecular Biosciences Unit and LAQV - Associated Laboratory for Green
Chemistry. He holds a PhD in Biophysics in 2007 by Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon and Licenciatura in Technological Physics
Engineering in 1999 by Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon. Previously, he was the head of the Information Systems Unit at Instituto de
Medicina Molecular from 2013 to 2016. He was also Assistant Professor at the School of Engineering, Universidade Católica de Lisboa, were
responsible for a spectrum of courses encompassing physics, information systems, and mathematical modeling.
