Assistant Professor (Adjunct) and Consultant at Nova School of Business and Economics. His work is focused on sustainability and impact assessment and management, social entrepreneurship and innovation. João is also NOVA University Lisbon’s sustainability coordinator.
Bachelor and Master in Economics by Nova School of Business and Economics, he has previously worked in the banking industry for 12 years. He traded interest rates, credit and foreign exchange assets. João is also an impact driven entrepreneur after founding WACT – WE ARE CHANGING TOGHETHER in 2007. At WACT he developed training programs to empower Changemakers, socially engaged individuals with strong entrepreneurial skills to solve social and environmental challenges.
