Inês Lopo de Carvalho is an experienced Private Equity professional with over 10 years of experience of investment in Portugal and Spain. Currently is a co-founding Partner and Director of Crest Capital Partners, as well as a member of its Investment Team. Crest is a Portuguese Private Equity firm set up in 2017 to manage PE funds focused on Portuguese profitable SME's.

Previously, and since 2008, has worked in the private equity area of Explorer Investments, where participated in several acquisition, bolt on acquisitions and exits, such as Solzaima, Nutricafés, TTM and Brandcare. During this period, she was a director of several companies of the three private equity funds, including most of the companies that constituted the Explorer III Fund (a top quartile fund of 2009 vintage).

In 2002, Inês began her professional activity in the Insurance and Pension Funds Supervision Authority. Between 2005 and 2007 she worked in the risk management department of Millenniumbcp Fortis.

She has a Degree in Math from Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Lisbon), and a Master in Science in Actuarial Management (with distinction) from Cass Business School (London)
