Career on the fast moving consumer goods industry since 1987, having held General Manager Positions in Vileda Ibérica Portugal, Henkel Ibérica Portugal and Sara Lee Household & Body Care, where he was in charge of the Portuguese and the Brazilian operations. He was until the end of 2004 President of Sara Lee Household & Body Care Italy in Milan. Since 2005 he created his own consultancy firm.
He has taught since 1991 at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Faculdade de Economia, Departamento de Gestão at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, the Lisbon MBA (Full time and Executive) and with Executive Education. He is currently Visiting Assistant Professor at Nova SBE.
