With over two decades of experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, Jorge Velosa combines executive leadership, commercial acumen, and academic rigor.

He served as Managing Director at Vileda Ibérica Portugal, Henkel Ibérica, and Sara Lee Household & Body Care, overseeing operations across Portugal, Brazil, and Italy.

In 2005, he founded his own consulting firm, through which he advises organizations in areas such as marketing strategy, retail and sales management, and customer experience.

Jorge began his academic career in 1991 at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, teaching across undergraduate, master’s, and MBA programs. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at Nova SBE, where he also lectures in Executive Education programs in the fields of marketing and sales.

Throughout his career, Jorge has published reflections on retail transformation, consumer experience, and omnichannel strategies, maintaining an active interest in the intersection between innovation, consumer behaviour, and the digitalization of commercial ecosystems.

Jorge Velosa believes that an effective commercial strategy is built on a deep understanding of the consumer, agility in execution, and the ability to adapt to digital and market transformations continuously.

Jorge Velosa holds an MBA from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and a degree in Management and has completed executive programs at Harvard Business School in digital marketing and sales force, and channel management.
