Ph.D. in Finance from ISCTE. Samuel is Guest Speaker at Nova SBE. He is a Principal Bank Sector Analyst at the European Banking Authority, and a supervisor at the Journal of Banking & Finance among other publications. He was an economist at the European Central Bank and a senior consultant at the Bank of Portugal, working in fields such as Financial Supervision, Financial Research, and Risk Management. He also has academic experience in executive training programs through The World Bank projects. He teaches in the areas of Finance and Banking.
