PhD in Banking and Finance from City University (Cass) Business School, England. He is the Academic Director of The Lisbon MBA (Nova-Católica-MIT) and an Associate Professor at Nova SBE. He is also a Visiting Professor at Cass Business School and at the University of Luxembourg. He has experience as a professor, director and coordinator of programs for executives, as well as pre and post-experience master's degrees. He is the director of Sonae Capital and Change Partners, SCR, and Chairman of the Fiscal Council of Novabase. He was director of REN and Biotecnol. He has extensive activity as a consultant of financial companies in London and Portugal. He teaches and researches in areas such as banking, corporate finance, private equity and Venture Capital.
