Criminal Investigation Coordinator

Rogério Bravo is the Criminal Investigation Coordinator for the Judicial Police. He advised the Directorate of the National Unit for Combating Cybercrime and Technological Crime (UNC3T) of the Judicial Police and the National Directorate, after having headed the Central Section for the Investigation of Computer and Technological Crime and the Central Section for Digital Investigation (‘CyberAttacks’) for many years. 
During his operational career, he was part of the point of contact for the 24/7 networks of INTERPOL, EUROPOL, the European Commission and the G7.
He represented the Polícia Judiciária on EuroPol's European Union Cybercrime Task Force (EUCTF) until May 2022, where he was vice-chairman for two terms (from 2014 to December 2017 and from 2020 to 2022).
He has a degree and postgraduate qualifications in Law (Procedural Sciences) and Information Warfare (Military Academy). 
Over the last 20 years he has actively co-operated with the Portuguese Academy in various Masters and Undergraduate programmes, as well as being a guest researcher at the UbiNet Laboratory at the Polytechnic Institute of Beja.
He is a university lecturer in the areas of Cyber Security Law, Information Security, Intelligence and Digital Forensic Intervention.
