Leonor Sottomayor is head of Public Affairs of Sonae since 2015. She is on the Board of Directors of various trade associations, including EuroCommerce, the Portuguese Business Confederation and Smart Waste Portugal. Leonor is also Vice-President of Sociedade Ponto Verde. She previously worked in EU affairs for the sugar industry.

Leonor has a degree in Foreign Languages Applied to International Corporations from the Portuguese Catholic University, and a master degree in International Politics from the Centre d’Etudes des Relations Internationales et Strategiques, Brussels. Recently, Leonor completed the “Accelerated Development Programme” from London Business School.
