She finished his law degree at the Catholic University of Lisbon in 2000 and joined Deloitte that same year. She was Manager of the Tax Consultancy division at Deloitee, between 2007 and 2010. She is a Tax Lawyer and currently coordinates the Tax Law practice area at Antas da Cunha Ecija. Dedicated exclusively to Tax Law and has extensive professional experience in all taxes of the Portuguese tax system. Her area of ??activity has focused on international taxation, corporate structuring and monitoring of real estate operations. Joana has been developing a consistent practical study in the area of ??taxation of the realities arising from the blockchain, providing advice to different types of clients in this field. She is the author of several articles and publications in the specialty and has attended several national and international training courses in the tax area, as a trainee and trainer. She is a member of the AFP (Portuguese Tax Association) and the IFA (International Tax Association).
