With more than 20 years dedicated to people development and the positive transformation of organizations, Sónia Nunes is a specialist in organizational culture, leadership, and the design of talent-management processes that strengthen both people and business performance.

She is currently Head of Communities Engagement at CEiiA - the Centre of Engineering and Product Development - where her mission is to mobilise communities, especially younger generations, towards a smarter and more sustainable way of living. She promotes programs and initiatives that empower them to become agents of transformation through the development and adoption of new technologies.

In Nova SBE Executive Education, she works with leaders to demonstrate how aligning culture, purpose, and performance is critical, turning people development into a genuine driver of innovation and competitiveness.

Previously, Sónia Nunes served as People & Culture Manager at Mercer Portugal, where she led the design of strategic talent-management processes. Before that, she was Partner, Talent & Knowledge at Jason Associates, where she helped structure pioneering programs in leadership development, culture, and knowledge management.

With a human-centred yet business-oriented perspective, Sónia Nunes believes that true organizational transformation happens when people have the conditions to bring their best selves to the service of strategy. Her path illustrates how talent development and the creation of collaborative, demanding, and intentionally aligned cultures are essential to generating sustainable growth and meaningful impact.

She holds a degree in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto, and postgraduate degrees in Human Resources Management (University of Minho) and in Tourism and Hospitality Management (Porto Business School).
