Ph.D. in Information Management from Nova IMS. Fernando Bação is Associate Professor at Nova IMS, and Deputy Director. He is also Director of the Magic Research Center and Director of the Doctoral Program in Information Management. Over the years he has been a consultant for numerous companies such as Auchan, Credibom, UNICRE, INE, and CTT. His research work has appeared in scientific journals like Information & Management, Information Systems Frontiers, The Internet and Higher Education, Softcomputing, Journal of Educational Technology & Society, Computers in Human Behavior, among others. He teaches and researches in the areas of Data Science, Data Mining, and the role of Business Analytics in innovation and development of competitive advantages.
