Professor of Macroeconomics at Nova SBE since 2015, he has published in scientific journals such as the Journal of Monetary Economics and the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, having also contributed to the second edition of the Handbook of Macroeconomics with a chapter on economic cycles.
Before joining Nova SBE, Pedro was a visiting student at the University of Minnesota, research intern at the European Central Bank, Assistant Professor at the University of Stockholm, and Researcher at the Robert Schuman Center for Advanced Studies, of the European University Institute.
Pedro Brinca has a degree (B.Sc.), a Masters (M.Sc.) and a PhD (Ph.D.) in Economics from Stockholm University.
