Paulo Mateus Pinto has a degree in Economics with a specialization in Management from the Faculdade de Economia da Universidade de Coimbra. He has been the CEO of La Redoute Portugal since late 2007, where he developed one of the first digital transformation processes in Portugal. From 2012 to 2018 he accumulated the General Directorate of Spain. Before that he led several missions in the areas of brand development and of "mail order" in several countries across Europe (Spain, Switzerland, Germany, UK, among others). He is currently a member of the board of NERLEI – Business Center of the Leiria region. And, on behalf of NERLEI, he is a member of the board of Instituto Pedro Nunes and President of Leiria Business School. He was vice-president of ACEPI – Associação para a Economia Digital from 2012 to 2019. Founder of the Startup Leiria and member of its Board of Directors.
