Joana Castro e Costa is currently the Executive Director of the Nova SBE Leadership for Impact Knowledge Centre, in Nova School of Business and Economics (Nova SBE). At Nova SBE she also coordinates the Social Equity Initiative – a partnership with BPI and “la Caixa” Foundation – focused in transforming the social sector in Portugal. She is also a fellow of the League of Intrapreneurs, member of the BMW Foundation Responsible Leaders Network, the Red Iberoamericana de Jóvenes Líderes and the Economy of Francesco movement. She has also been recognized as a top 5 “Female Entrepreneurial Leader of the Year” in higher education by Triple E-awards 2023. She is dedicated to bridging academia with society, fostering intrapreneurship for impact, systems-change and regeneration as a new approach to sustainability.
