Since its launch, the Patient Innovation Bootcamp has supported more than 60 startups from over 25 Horizon Europe countries, all founded by patients and caregivers. Their projects span a wide range of areas—from medtech to digital health—addressing conditions such as cardiovascular disease, mental health, dermatology, oncology, respiratory illnesses, and many more.

This remarkable diversity showcases how patients and caregivers are driving innovation from the ground up, creating impactful solutions for conditions ranging from everyday challenges to complex, life-threatening diseases.

This year also marked the closing of the EIT Health funding cycle. Yet one thing is certain: the Bootcamp will continue to evolve and thrive in new forms. For now, we can only say: thank you, Nova SBE, for being the home of the Bootcamp every single year.
