Driven by a fascination with how businesses can align with the natural world, Teresa’s research lies at the intersection of nature and organizations. She explores how ecocentrism – placing nature at the center of decision-making – can be practiced within organizational contexts. Often using qualitative methodologies and paradox theory, her work unpacks the tensions and complexities of taking nature and its health seriously, and of navigating this commitment in everyday practice. Teresa is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Nova School of Business and Economics. When she is not thinking about nature and organizations, you will likely find her riding the waves of Carcavelos.
