The results consolidate Nova SBE’s international position given that the school became the first Portuguese school in the world’s TOP 15 with its two Master’s in the Financial Times rankings – the International Master’s in Finance (11th worldwide and 9th in Europe) and the International Master’s in Management (15th worldwide, which represented an eight-position rise). It is also important to highlight the position obtained in the Financial Time’s Executive Education ranking that put, in May 2022, Nova SBE in 22nd worldwide, rising 20 places and making it, once again, the leader business school in Portugal.

The present European Business School Financial Times Ranking not only reinforces the school’s position in Europe and internationally but also recognizes Portuguese excellence in higher education. Since Nova SBE entered the Financial Times rankings in 2011, that, for the first time, five Portuguese schools are part of this prestigious ranking, all of them continuously rising in the general ranking.

Daniel Traça, Dean da Nova SBE, highlights that “at Nova SBE, we are very pleased with this result that is the consolidation of the work we have been doing in the rankings. It is with great satisfaction that we already have five Portuguese schools in the ranking, which demonstrates the excellent quality of Portuguese education.

The European Business Schools Financial Times ranking evaluates a total of 95 organizations, and it is based on the global scores that each school had in each of the following Financial Times rankings: Master’s in Management, Executive Education, MVA, and EMBA.

The school believes these results are proof that its efforts in preparing professionals and future leaders with skills to implement transformations towards a more human leadership capable of ensuring a more sustainable and harmonious world are achievable and well-received in companies and society.
