Silvia López is Visitor Professor at NOVA SBE and Member of the Leadership for Impact Knowledge Center. Doctor on Complexity Theory and Sustainability by the London School of Economics (2014), Silvia has also 10 years of work experience in the field of social entrepreneurship in 3 continents. Responsible for various publications, she has been awarded the fellowship by various international organizations for her entrepreneurial work. Silvia also holds a MBA on Corporate Social Responsibility (Brazil), a Bachelor degree on Environmental Science (Spain) and speaks 4 languages.

Ph.D. in Social Policy, London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE), London, UK (2007 – 2014, part-time).

Supervisors: Prof. Anthony Hall (Social Policy Department) and Prof. Eve Mitleton-Kelly (Director of Complexity Research Programme at LSE). Title PhD thesis: “Inter-Sector Partnerships: Complex Dynamics and Patterns of Behaviour”.
