Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) is one of the organizations that made the greatest progress in the 2026 Sustainability Index, recording growth of more than 2.5 points compared with the previous edition, according to an analysis by consultancy OnStrategy.

The current edition of the Sustainability of Brands study is based on fieldwork involving more than 50,000 Portuguese citizens between September 2025 and July 2026. During this period, respondents’ perceptions of the sustainability practices of various brands and organizations were assessed across five dimensions: Environmental Responsibility, Social Responsibility (society and employees), and Governance.

Among the organizations that recorded the largest improvements, with increases of more than 2.5 points, Nova SBE stands out. This result places the School close to an excellence rating and reflects the growing importance attributed to ESG practices and Nova SBE’s positioning in the field of sustainability.

Sustainable practices are embedded in the School’s strategy and are reflected, above all, through education, research, and innovation, as well as its commitment to building a more sustainable future.

OnStrategy’s analysis also identifies the brands with the strongest reputations. Delta ranks first, followed by Oceanário de Lisboa and Luso. In total, only seven brands achieved an excellence rating, with more than 80 points.
