Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) kicks off Nova SBE Discovery Week’26 – the welcome week for new students that marks the beginning of the 2026/2027 academic year. 

Over the course of three days, the Carcavelos campus will host a program dedicated to academic and social integration, familiarizing students with the programs, services, and community, and fostering connections among new students. 

Demand for Nova SBE’s master’s programs has grown significantly once again, with the number of applications increasing by 54% compared to last year. In total, approximately 2,050 new master’s students will arrive at the Carcavelos campus. Of these, 32% are Portuguese and 68% are international students, representing 121 nationalities in 2026 — up from 113 nationalities in the previous academic year. 

The Nova SBE Discovery Week kicks off with a diverse program and a range of integration activities designed to welcome new students and introduce them to the environment and community at the school. 

Through this program, Nova SBE further strengthens the international dimension of its community and seeks to ensure that new students begin the academic year familiar not only with their academic programs, but also with the opportunities, services, and networks that are part of the campus experience in Carcavelos.
