Specialist in crisis, she has done consulting with clients in the most varied geographies. Alexandra was previously a spokesman for the Ministry of National Defense of the Portuguese Republic and an advisor to the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation. She was a journalist and presenter at Sic and Sic Notícias, and a reporter at BBC World Service in London and at the American newspaper International Herald Tribune in Paris.
