Vítor Pereira das Neves graduated in Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, in 1996. He then began his teaching activity at that Faculty, still as a monitor. He joined the First Doctoral Course at NOVA School of Law, in 1997, where he obtained a doctorate, in private law, in 2006, with the thesis – The Assignment of Credits in Guarantee – Between the realization of obligatory situations and the relativization of real situations. Since 2006, he has been Assistant Professor at NOVA School of Law and responsible for various disciplines in the undergraduate course, several masters and doctorate courses. He has been a partner since September 2020 at the Sociedade de Advogados Morais Leitão – Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados, joining the commercial, M&A and capital markets team.
