Sofia Riço Calado is a privacy lawyer. Currently, she is Senior Legal Counsel for the American company Cloudflare, where she oversees European and Asian markets. She is particularly involved in the adoption of privacy mechanisms applicable to Internet traffic management and information security, as well as in the relationship with regulators. Previously, she was the Head of Legal at Huawei Portugal, in-house lawyer at Portuguese start-up Unbabel and an associate lawyer in the TMT department of SRS Advogados. She is certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals as a Fellow of Information Privacy, the highest rating given to a professional in this field.
