With a degree in Social and Organisational Psychology from ISPA, he began his professional career in a training team at a consultancy firm. Shortly afterwards he joined the Learning & Development team at Volkswagen Autoeuropa. After two years he was appointed director of training and consultancy at ATEC - Academia de formação, where he developed various projects in Portugal, Europe and South America for Volkswagen, Simens and Bosch. After eight years he joined CIMPOR's corporate Human Resources team, taking on responsibilities in terms of talent management and monitoring the business units in China and India.
