Alexandre Dias da Cunha, a graduate (MBA) of INSEAD, is the academic coordinator of the Managing the Family Business Program and responsible for Nova SBE's Family Business Initiative. He also collaborates as a facilitator in the Families in Business program at Harvard Business School.

He is a Senior Advisor and Associate Partner at Cambridge Advisors to Family Enterprise, a highly specialized international advisory firm serving family enterprises. His advisory work with multigenerational business families in Europe and the Middle East includes the preparation and implementation of succession plans and family/shareholder governance processes.

He is a non-executive director of Companhia do Pipeline Moçambique Zimbabwe, in Beira, Mozambique, and of Banco Invest, in Lisbon.

He began his professional career as a consultant with McKinsey and has worked since 1997 in his family's business activities, where he held various leadership positions in numerous companies.

While Portuguese and German are his native languages, he is also fluent in English, French, and Spanish.
