Vitorino Mello Oliveira is a Portuguese diplomat at the United Nations in New York, covering political, economic and financial affairs. He is former diplomatic advisor and acting chief economist to the Portuguese Minister of State and Finance and President of the Eurogroup.

Graduated in Economics, Master’s in Management with Major in Strategy, first-year PhD in Economics and Finance, at Nova School of Business and Economics. Exchange program in Economics at the University of Vienna. Vitorino Mello Oliveira teaches Sustainable International Business, Geoeconomics and International Relations, the field lab of Partnerships for Sustainable Development, and a module in the Sustainable Development Goals at Nova School of Business & Economics, with research and teaching projects in other institutions.

He is also Youth Ambassador at the Estoril Conferences 2022.
