His research interests include time-series econometrics, financial econometrics and empirical macroeconomics and finance.
Paulo M. M. Rodrigues is a Senior Economist of the Economics and Research Department of the Banco de Portugal and Adjunct Associate Professor at Nova School of Business and Economics, where he teaches Econometrics and Financial Econometrics.
He received his PhD from the University of Manchester. He was a Jean Monnet Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence and a Visiting Scholar at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Vienna, Austria, the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada and the University of Navarra, Spain.
His research interests include time-series econometrics, financial econometrics and empirical macroeconomics and finance. He has published a number of peer-reviewed articles in several internationally renowned scientific journals, including Journal of Econometrics, Econometric Theory, Econometrics Reviews and Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics.
