Admissions for NOVA SBE’s new students start on September 11th 2017
We are getting ready to welcome you onto this new epic stage of your life next September 11.
During the welcoming week event, taking place between September 11 and 13, you will get to know your new colleagues and professors in several fun and informational activities that we have prepared for you. And because you probably have a lot of questions, we have created a FAQ document with all the answers you are looking for.
To proceed with your enrolment, please bring with you:
- 1 ID - head photos
- Your vaccination record (updated on your tetanus inoculation)
- Your ID card and a copy of that document (signed)

Soon a new school year will commence at Nova SBE. It’s possible that you still have some unanswered questions. Here we try to address each and every one of them.
How do I calculate my Grade Point Average in order to be offered admissions at Nova SBE?
What was the minimum necessary GPA to be offered admissions at Nova SBE in 2016/2017?
What score will I have to obtain in order to be offered admissions at Nova SBE during the academic year 2017/2018?
If I am not admitted during the 1st application phase can I still apply during the 2nd phase?
What is the tuition fee for the 2017/2018 academic year?
The non-payment of the tuition fees and charges will result in additional interest for late payment and can affect the students’ curricular activities. In case you find it difficult or impossible to meet this expense, it is possible to come up with a different installment plan.

Can I spend a semester studying at a foreign school (exchange semester)?
Can I apply for Economics and then change to Management (or Management and then change to Economics)?
If I’m studying Management can I take Economics classes?
Are all classes taught in English?
- classes taught in English;
- classes taught in Portuguese;
- Algebra and Calculus classes taught in Portuguese and the remaining classes taught in English.
Please bear in mind that all classes starting from the 2nd year onwards are taught in English.
Will I have to pass some kind of English Assessment test?
