The partnership between WPP and Nova SBE seeks to raise awareness and understanding about the latest media and data trends, promoting master classes, conferences and jointly developing courses. The next April 3, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, at room A223, you have the opportunity to participate in the first Master Class by WPP, about Programmatic Buying in Media. We are constantly hearing about the market and about data and the impact it has on marketing. However, you have not heard about the detail of how this data is collected, unified and activated in a way that drives measurable revenue for brands, this master class is your opportunity! Data platform sits at the heart of everything we work at, from audience planning and insights, to powering smarter cross-channel media activation for our clients.
This master class is going to be conducted by Sérgio Oliveira, Xaxis Director Portugal (part of GroupM – one of the WPP media agencies). Sérgio has a path build in telco, tech and retail companies, he has invested most of his career in the digital media area, with a strong knowledge of the Portuguese market and understanding the role of all players, with strong relations with the key elements. For the last 16 years, he worked for companies such as Microsoft, Portugal Telecom, FNAC or the United Nations Information Center in Lisbon.

Our partnership also includes participation in Nova SBE Master Marketing Classes. Some classes receive a WPP guest speakers from different companies of the group to offer the students a more practical and market-oriented perspective.
We are also developing a New Executive Education program jointly designed by WPP, Nova SBE and IMS – led by Professor Jorge Velosa. Nova WPP Digital Week is one-week unique program that covers the main digital marketing building blocks from the strategic concepts to its practical implementation. The course will take place in last week of June at our campus and covers topics like: Consumers in the Digital World, Redesigning Communications & Business Models, Implementing Digital and Social Strategies, The data and analytics challenge, Hands-on Workshop on Digital Media.
